Apprentice Building Services Engineer
This is an opportunity to start a career in the Building Services Industry, learning how to design and contract (managing the installation of) all building services (air conditioning, heating, ventilation, plumbing, electrical, etc.).
We install these services to all types of buildings ranging from office blocks to retail premises, hospitals to hotels, in fact any type of building that require services to be installed.
This is an office based job, with regular visits to building sites and customers premises.
You will be taught the design, estimating, financial control, procurement, quality control, how to supervise a workforce and sub-contractors, and how to finally set up the systems to hand over to the client.
Full training will be given in house for the practical elements of the job, including a period working on site, and a college course for you to gain your Building Services qualifications.
You will attend Bath College on a day release basis to take the following courses.
Building Services Engineering Diploma, Level 3
Building Services Engineering HNC, Level 4
With optional to progress onto – Building Services Engineering, Level 5

You must have 4 GCSE’s at grade C or above including Maths, English, and a Science.
Your apprenticeship will also be monitored by our governing body, BESA – Building Engineering Services Association.
Their Training Department will monitor your progress, having regular meetings with yourself, the Company, and the college, to ensure that all parties are meeting the standards required.
